Payment Policy

To lose someone you love is a devastating human experience. It is frequently traumatic and can seriously impact judgment. We believe in the importance of the recognition and meaningful celebration of a life that has been lived and will assist in arranging an appropriate service to
meet your individual needs.


It is also important to be realistic in respect to funeral expenditures. We do not want a family to spend more than they are able nor less than they would like. What is important is that arrangements be in keeping with a family's wishes and budget. Provisions for payment are due at time of arrangements. To avoid any possibility of misunderstanding or embarrassment and for your convenience, we accept the following ten methods of payment:


Family Shield Credit*, Cash, Check, Certified Check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Assignment of a Verifiable Insurance Policy, or Pre-Need Advance Funding.


Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home does not enter into contracts with estates. Responsible parties must pay the funeral home directly and then petition the estate for reimbursement. It is our expectation that payment will be made by the day of services. Should accounts not be
settled within 30-days from the date of arrangements, interest will be charged in the amount of 1.29% per month (15.5% APR). Accounts with balances still due after 90-days will referred to a collection agency.
