I am a graduate of Warsaw Central School Class of 1974. I then graduated from the Mortuary
Science program at the State University of New York at Canton in 1976. I also received additional training in Psychology at the State University of New York at Geneseo. I received my New York State Funeral Directors License in 1977.
I was employed for two years with Flynn Funeral Service/McElroy Funeral Home in Elmsford, NY in Westchester County. I was a licensed funeral director with Miller Funeral Homes in Rochester from 1980 – 1986. From 1986 – 1989 I was a licensed funeral director with Weeks Funeral Home in Warsaw.
In 1991, along with my high school classmate, John “Jay” Hackemer, we began the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home in Warsaw. We renovated the former Doody home at 246 North Main Street into a state of the art facility and opened our doors in November of that year. We have been serving our hometown community ever since.
I am married to Erin Lyons Robinson who is currently the Library Director at the Wadsworth Public Library in Geneseo. I have three children, Peter Robinson and Kelly Robinson Keough, both licensed funeral directors that I am proud to work with and Leo Robinson who is a student at Warsaw Central School.
I am a Past President of the Warsaw Kiwanis Club, Past President of the former St. Michael’s School Board of Education, President of the former Blues in the Valley Music Festival Board of Directors, member of the Board of Directors of Community Action of Wyoming County. I served as a Village Trustee for the Village of Warsaw from 2007 – 2011 and Mayor of the Village of Warsaw from 2011 – 2023.
I attend the United Church of Warsaw and am a member of the church commission. I also serve on the Committee on Church and Ministry of the Genesee Valley Association of the United Church of Christ.
I enjoy golf, am an avid reader and sports fan and enjoy taking trips to New York City for theater and taking annual trips to Cape Cod with family.
I am a graduate of Warsaw Central School Class of 1974. I am also a graduate of Hudson Valley
Community College in Troy, NY where I completed the Mortuary Science program. I also received additional training from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I received my New York State funeral director’s license in 1978. In earlier years I was employed by the Harris Funeral Home in Rochester, the Phillips Funeral Home in Corning, NY and also the Weeks Funeral Home in Warsaw.
In 1991, my high school classmate, Joe Robinson and I, renovated the Doody homestead in Warsaw and began the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home in the late fall of that year. I am married to Maryanne Regan Hackemer and have two daughters and four grandchildren. I love spending time with my family and working around our farmhouse and tending to our horses.
In earlier years, I was an avid rugby player and was a member of the Genesee Creamers Rugby Club in Batavia. I also enjoy sailing and was a member of the former Silver Lake Yacht Club. I was also a member of the Warsaw Volunteer Fire department. Currently I am a member of the Board of Directors of HomeCare & Hospice. It has been an honor to have been able to serve my friends and neighbors in the community where I was raised for over thirty years.
I was raised and have lived in Warsaw since the age of three. I attended St. Michael’s Catholic School
from Kindergarten to 6 th grade and attended Warsaw Central School from 7 th to 12 th grades where I graduated in 2001. I spent time at Finger Lakes Community College studying communications as well as Genesee Community College studying Physical Education before attending the American Academy McAllister nstitute studying mortuary science, graduating in 2011.
I’ve been a proud member of the Robinson and Hackemer staff since 2011, serving this wonderful community that I’ve been a part of for nearly a four decades. Along with working at the funeral home, I
serve on and currently am, the President of the Warsaw Public Library board of trustees, as well as, being the assistant varsity soccer coach for Warsaw/Letchworth Central Schools. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, visiting Letchworth State Park, watching
sports and playing sports, especially golf.
I was raised in Warsaw and have spent most of my life here. I attended St. Michael’s School from Pre-K to 6 th grade and went on to attend and graduate from Warsaw High School in 2005. I received an Associate’s degree from Genesee Community College in 2009 and graduated from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2014.
I began working here at Robinson And Hackemer Funeral Home in 2007 after spending a couple of years in Myrtle Beach, SC. I began my career here as office manager and continued that role while I went to school and obtained my license to be a funeral director.
I married my husband, Chris in 2016. We have three children, Olivia, Elizabeth, and Jack.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, working out, and watching sports. What I enjoy most is spending time with family, especially my kids.
