William R. Treat

Bill died June 3, 2021 at his home in Dale, NY. His children and family were by his side. Bill was born on October 18, 1951 to the late Don and Lillian Treat. He is predeceased by his youngest sister Sue (Treat) Almeter.

Bill is survived by his son Jesse (Tyffani) Treat and his daughter Cheyanne Treat and his grandson Rhett.

He is also survived by his siblings: Donna (late Russell) Johnson, Terry (Bonnie) Treat, Vicki (late Loren) Reuben, and Bruce Treat. He also has many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Bill served in the US Navy. He worked for the Rochester City School District as a roofer and maintenance man for many years until his retirement.

Bill was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast and collected all things Harley. He rode his dresser Harley with his buddies at every opportunity. He traveled the country and has been to Sturgess and has seen some amazing sights. Bill lived life to the fullest and did his own thing. He had some great tattoos and had a story behind each one.

Bill was a great dad and loved his two kids and would do anything for them. He was an awesome brother, neighbor and friend. Always willing to lend a hand no matter what the job was. He was a very hard working guy and was always puttering on an old car or motorcycle.

He was an active member of St. Luke’s Church in Attica and served on the Vestry. He loved deer hunting and also enjoyed playing cards with his mom and siblings. He had some pretty awesome dogs as companions during his life. He will be missed by all who knew him, his quick wit and sense of humor will always be remembered.

There are no calling hours as per his wish. Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home made arrangements. A special thank you to Joe Robinson for being so helpful when we needed him most. Also Tina from the VNA and Kathy Panepento from Crossroads House for being so caring and compassionate in helping with Bill.

A Memorial service will be held July 24th at 1:30 p.m. at St. Luke’s Church, 30 Favor Street, Attica, NY. This will be a service shared with his mom, Lillian Treat who died on December 15, 2020.
