Timothy J. Rutherford

Age 65, of Pavilion, was received by our Heavenly Father on March 30, 2024.

Tim’s greatest joy was Jesus and his family.

Tim leaves behind his wife and soulmate, Cheryl Rutherford; his children, Dawn (Rob) Marsceill, Sara (Amy) Rutherford-Bluhm, Ryan (Abby) Rutherford, Beth (Steve) O’Shea, Cathi Zimmer, Tim Rutherford, Sarah (Jase) Riggi, Chris (Heather) Rutherford, Ben (Jacquie) Rutherford, Lee Rutherford; 18 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Mary (Ken) Falker, Candy (Chuck) Albanese, Terry (Ruth) Rutherford, Kim (Larry) Barber, Tom (Margo) Rutherford, Scott (June) Mead, Sharon Brant, Gena Rutherford, Mark Hall; siblings-in-law, Gloria (Jerry) Ritter, Sharon (Sam) Price, Sheila Groh, Sandy (Craig) Wilkins, Sue (David) Taylor, Shelly (Donald) Freeman; many nieces and nephews; stepmother, Rita Mallison; special friends, Doug McVean, family house friends, church family, VA friends.

He is predeceased by his father, Everett “Jim” (Dolores) Rutherford; mother, Mary Jane (Skip) Hall; grandparents, Frank and Bessie Rutherford, Evelyn and Frank (Pappy) Wald; siblings, James Rutherford, Sandy Diehl, Jeannie Relyea; granddaughter, Topanga Rutherford; mother-in-law, Evelyn Lemanski; special friend, Pat McVean.

Tim was a member of the Pavilion United Methodist Church. He retired after 32 years as the Warsaw Supervising Water Plant Operator. Tim enjoyed remodeling, gardening, swimming, and traveling.

Special thanks for his children for the care and support while in Hospice. Special thanks to Strong Hospital and University Pittsburgh Medical Transplant Team for his care during his illness. Special thanks to Pavilion Fire Department and Rescue and to all of our prayer warriors.

Friends may call Friday, April 12^th from 2:30 to 6:30 pm at Robinson And Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. Tim’s memorial service will be held Saturday, April 13^th at 3pm at the Pavilion United Methodist Church, 11115 E. Park St., Pavilion. Tim’s family asks that you please consider being an organ donor.
