Age 76, of North Java, passed away on February 21, 2022 at Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.
He was born on June 5, 1945 in Warsaw, NY, son of the late Anthony L. and Ruth Kibler Perry. Thomas started working on the family’s dairy farm from a young age. He would graduate from Attica High School in 1963 and would eventually take over the family farm in 1980, where he worked with his son Anthony until the end. Thomas was also a farm advocate and enjoyed helping other farms grow to their potential.
Thomas was a Def Leppard fan and was an avid sports enthusiast, watching mostly basketball, football, and hockey. His favorite teams were the Boston Celtics, Duke Blue Devils, Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. Thomas enjoyed attending cattle auctions and could often be seen chasing his son’s beef cattle around when they would escape their pasture, which was a regular occurrence. Thomas loved his cats and dogs but loved to spend time with his grandchildren most of all.
Thomas is predeceased by a son, Matthew D. Perry and his brother, Donald Perry.
He’s survived by, his sons, Anthony C. (Michelle) Perry of North Java, Jeffery Perry of Johnsonburg, Christopher (Michelle) Perry of North Java; his grandchildren, Samantha, Leo, Jack, Thomas, Sophia, Tiffany, Dillon, Christopher Jr., Stephanie, Matthew; 12 great grandchildren and his sister-in-law, Elaine Perry of Scottsville, NY.
A memorial service for Thomas will be held at a later date.
