Susan M. Strathearn

Age 74, of Castile, passed away on March 22, 2025 at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.

She was born on December 24, 1950 in Warsaw, daughter of the late Richard and Harriet Von Gunden Schroeder. Susan graduated from Letchworth Central School and most recently worked in concessions at Letchworth State Park before retiring. She was an avid reader but enjoyed being with family and friends most of all.

Susan is survived by her husband, Kenneth Strathearn of Castile; her children, John (Rachael) Dacey of Arizona, Teresa (Phil) Pilc of Castile, Patricia (Daniel) Allen of Castile, Corissa (Jeremy) Korczak of Oregon; her step-children, John (Maria) Strathearn of Claredon, NY, Becky (Kevin) Green of Friendship; her brothers, Richard (Marcia) Schroeder of Perry, Kirk (Cheryl) Schroeder of Castile; Ten grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on April 1, 2025 from 5-7 pm at Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. A memorial service for Susan will be held immediately following visitation at 7 pm. Susan’s burial will be held April 2, 2025 at 11 am in Grace Cemetery, Castile.
