Steve B. Ellis

Age 55, of Wyoming, passed away on December 22, 2019 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY.

He was born March 25, 1964 in Warsaw, NY, son of Russ and Barbara Schutt Ellis.

Steve was a graduate of Warsaw Central School. He worked as a roofer for Elmer W. Davis for many years before working with the Local 22 of Rochester for 21 years. Steve loved playing with his dog Cub and hanging out with his friends in his shop. He also enjoyed 4-wheeling and snowmobiling and was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and Rusty Wallace.

Steve is predeceased by his daughter, Kristi Ellis, who passed away September 1, 2016.

Surviving along with his parents are his son, Jesse “Boy” Ellis; his best friend and longtime companion, Lisa Gringer-Ross; his brother, Mark Ellis; his sister Rhonda (Mark) Yianopoulos and his nephew, Adam Ellis.

Friends may call Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 1-3 PM at Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw, where Steve’s memorial service will be held immediately following visitation at 3 PM. Burial will be held at a later date.
