Stephen R. Hallopeter

Age 65, of Conesus, NY, passed away on May 31, 2021 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, following a brief illness.

He was born February 19, 1956 in Warsaw, NY son of the late James and Naomi Shattuck Hallopeter. Steve was a graduate of Letchworth Central School. In earlier years, he worked on the family farm. Steve worked for many years as a truck driver for Veltri Trucking, Inc. in Rochester. He was an avid bicyclist.

Surviving are his sisters, Marilyn (Donald) Tallman of Silver Springs, Connie (Greg) VanSlyke of Pike; his brother, Wayne (Delores) Hallopeter of Pike; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the brother of the late Kenneth Hallopeter.

Services will be private. Burial will be in East Koy Cemetery, Pike. Memorials in Steve’s name may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
