Age 86, a resident of the East Side Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw, formerly of Wilder Road, Warsaw, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2020 at the nursing facility.
She was born November 15, 1933 in Java, NY daughter of the late Rolland and Esther Havens Fisher. Shirley was an avid Buffalo Bills fan who attended games for many years. She also enjoyed reading and knitting and crocheting.
Shirley was predeceased by her first husband, Richard Kirsch who died in 1970 and by her second husband, Frank Kahl who died in 1992.
Surviving are her daughters, Barbara (Roger) Reiner of Attica, Linda (Gregory) Hoffmeister of Warsaw, Debra (Mark) Bisson of Warsaw, Joanne (Ed) England of Sparta, TN; stepdaughter, Joanne (James) Miller of Attica; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; her sisters, Virginia (Raymond) Hibsch of Strykersville, Bonnie (Gerald) LaWall of Frederick, MD; half brother, Jack (Georgine) Fisher of Warsaw; several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Raymond Fisher and Norman Fisher and stepmother of the late Judy Gruber.
Friends may call Thursday, February 27 from 4 – 7 PM at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where her memorial service will be held immediately following visitation at 7 PM. Private burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Bennington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wyoming County SPCA, PO Box 269, Attica, NY 14011.
