Sally S. Wing

Age 77, of Bliss, passed away June 18, 2022 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility, Warsaw.

She was born July 12, 1944 in Buffalo, NY to the late Mary Kane Martin. She had been raised though by Bill and Maude Von Hummel.

Sally received her Master’s degree from SUNY Geneseo. She then taught at SUNY Geneseo and Finger Lakes Community College before moving on to work as a consultant at the Wyoming County Human Resources department. After many years of working for Wyoming County she started her own consulting firm, SARAS & Associates. Sally was a member of the Eastern Star Stebbins Chapter 503, Pike for 54 years.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Wing whom she married in 1969; her son, Bill Wing of Castile; her daughters, Amy (Randy) Brundage of Oramel, NY and Sara Wing of Retsof, NY; granddaughter, Elizabeth.

Friends may call Wednesday, June 22nd from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM at Robinson And Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where an Order of the Eastern Star service will be held following visitation at 8 PM. A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 23rd at 11 AM at Elmwood Cemetery, Telegraph Rd., Pike.
