Age 84 of Silver Springs, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, November 16, 2024.

A graduate of Letchworth Central High School's Class of 1958, Sally attended Bryant & Stratton College in Buffalo, NY, where she met her husband. They married on May 3, 1963, and she began her professional career at M&T's corporate offices in Buffalo. In 1975, Sally relocated to Silver Springs, NY, where she devoted herself to raising her three daughters and serving her community. Her career continued at the administrative offices of Wyoming County Community Hospital, the Department of Social Services, and finally the Treasurer's office until her retirement in 2002. Active in civic life, Sally served on the Wyoming County Republican Committee and volunteered as a Girl Scout leader, with St. Mary's Church in Silver Springs and the Silver Springs Fire Department.
Sally is reunited in death with her parents, her husband Vincent D. Meegan, Jr., her brother Terry L. Satterlee, and her sister Judy Ridder.
She is survived by her daughters Ann Marie (Ray, "Tom") Wood of Warsaw, NY, Laurie Ann (Brian) Payne of Fairfield, PA, and Mary Elizabeth (Brian) Litteer of Marlborough, MA; her grandchildren Chelsie Mantelli, Kaitlyn Cline, Allyson (Collin) Schildt, Anna and Meghan Litteer, Brooke, Wyatt and Morgan Payne; and her great-grandchildren Raylan, Rorie Jo, Hadlee, Ryan and Jasper.
