Russell J. Casselberry

Age 59, of Tenefly Rd., Castile died September 12, 2013 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.

He was born September 20, 1953 in Albion, NY, son of the late Walter, Sr. and Bernice Baker Casselberry. Russ was employed as a construction worker for many years and in recent years worked as a delivery person for the Batavia Daily News. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and camping. He was also an avid Buffalo Bills fan and Buffalo Sabres fan. Russ also had a great interest in antiques and collectibles.

Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Carol Scott Casselberry whom he married on January 17, 1975; his children, Russell J. Casselberry II of Bliss, Darryl Casselberry of Castile, Savannah (Peter) Allbright of Bliss; his grandchildren, Jenna Casselberry, Andrew Casselberry and Allison Allbright; his siblings, Harold (Jane) Casselberry of Amherst, Wisc., Sally (Butch) Casselberry of Gainesville, Thomas Casselberry of Warsaw; his step brother, Terry (Marge) Frank of Castile; his step sisters, Connie Largey of Rock Glen, Betty (Claude) Carpenter of Jackson, Fla.; his sister-in-law, Gloria (Darryl) Dembowski of Hermitage; his brothers-in-law, Paul (Abbey) Scott of Wethersfield, Cliff (Carol) Scott of Silver Springs, Doug (Wendy) Scott of Castile, Tom (Bonnie) Scott of Castile; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Russ was predeceased by his siblings, Patricia (Winston ?Pat?) Hayes, Walter Casselberry, Jr., Mary Lou Casselberry and Robert Casselberry and his brothers in law, Mike Scott and Steve Scott.

Friends may call Monday, September 16 from 4 ? 6 PM at Harmon-Watson Funeral Home, 35 N. Main St., Castile where a service will be held immediately following visitation at 6 PM. Burial will be at a later date in Grace Cemetery, Castile. Memorials may be made to the family.
