Ronald Reon Wetherwax

Age 94, of Wyoming, NY, passed away on October 29, 2020 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

He was born December 5, 1925 in Wyoming, NY son of the late Reon and Elizabeth Withey Wetherwax. Mr. Wetherwax was a lifelong farmer who owned and operated Hillcrest Farm in Wyoming. He was a devout Christian, who is now happy to be home in the arms of the Lord. He was an avid Buffalo Bills and St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Ronald was predeceased by his wife, Carol who died in 2007.

Surviving are his children, Sharyn (Craig) Stevens of Bergen, Rudd (Nancy) Wetherwax of Wyoming; grandchildren, Don Stevens, Jeremy (Rachelle) Stevens, Natalie (Neil) Cavalieri, Nicholas (Kassidy) Wetherwax, Jordan Wetherwax and Jacob Wetherwax; great grandchildren, Hunter, Liam, Callie and Elijah Stevens.

Friends may call Wednesday, November 4 from 1 – 4 PM at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where a private service will follow. Memorials may be made to Gideon’s International, PO Box 97251, Washington, DC 20090-7251. Due to Covid-19 precautions, the funeral home is limited to 33% capacity and facemasks are required.
