Roger E. Chandler

Age 74, of Warsaw, passed away at the Wyoming County Community Hospital on July 27, 2019.

He was born December 13, 1944 in Warsaw, son of the late Eugene and Barbara Roth Chandler. Roger was employed by the New York State Department of Corrections for 26 years, where he retired in 1996. He was a very active member of Masonic Lodge #543 of Pike and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Roger is predeceased by his wife Dorothy in 2017 and his brother Robert Chandler.

Surviving are his sons, Roger (Jill) Chandler of Albion and Kevin (Kelly) Chandler of Churchville; grandchildren, Brooke (Olin Miller) Chandler, Cole Chandler, Laura (John) Olinger, Kevin (Janie) Bentley, Christopher Quartieri, Maggie Quartieri; his great grandchildren, Owen Bentley and Elle Bentley.

Friends may call Saturday August 10, 2019 from 1-4 PM at Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. A Masonic service will be held immediately following visitation at 4 PM with a funeral service to follow. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049.
