Robert E. Covert, Sr.

Age 73, of Warsaw, passed away at home on November 19, 2022.

He was born November 5, 1949 in Warsaw, son of the late Ed and Ernestine Bailey Covert. Bob was employed for thirty years as a corrections officer at the Attica Correctional Facility. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was an avid sports car enthusiast and he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Bob was predeceased by his wife Diana Thomas Covert who passed away in 2007.

Surviving are his sons, Robert (Michelle McElroy) Covert, Jr. of San Diego, Calif., Brian (Shanna) Covert of Castile; his grandchildren, Ashley Covert, Ethan Covert, Liam Covert and Brynley Covert; his sister, Rhonda Kaczmarek of Bliss; brothers, Richard (Bev) Covert of Perry Center, Ronald (Wanda) Covert of Silver Lake; his mother-in-law, Eleanor Thomas of Warsaw.
