Mona D. Willard

Age 89, of Attica, NY, passed away on July 19, 2021 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw, reuniting with her beloved husband, Wayne.

She was born March 28, 1932 in Warsaw, NY daughter of the late Theron and Clara Kirsch Dohse. Mona was an avid card player who belonged to several card groups over the years. She loved swimming and was an avid reader. In earlier years, Mona owned and operated Bob’s Restaurant in Attica.

Mona was predeceased by her husband, Wayne G. Willard who passed away on November 25, 2018 and her daughter, Caryl Jessup who passed away on July 14, 2017.

Surviving are her sons, Robert (Adele) Landin of Basom, David (Teri) Landin of Attica, Marc (Susie Janes) Landin of Attica, Jon (Peggy) Landin of Corfu; step daughters, Linda (the late Dave) Jackett of Batavia, Denise (Joseph) Welter of East Amherst; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Friends may call Saturday, July 24 from 11 AM – 12 PM at the West Middlebury Baptist Church, 4950 West Middlebury Road where Mona’s memorial service will be held immediately following visitation at 12 PM. Private burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Attica.
