Melody J. Wolfe

Age 51, of Hurd St., Castile, passed away peacefully at the St. John the Baptist Hospice House in Buffalo.

She was born September 20, 1963 in Buffalo, daughter of Edward W. Wolfe of Arcade and the late Joyce R. Cook Wolfe. Melody was an avid reader and she was a fundraising coordinator for the ABC Bassett Hound Rescue, Inc. She also was a child care provider for many years; a vocation she thoroughly enjoyed.

Surviving, along with her father are her sister, Bonnie (Tom) Scott of Castile; her nephew, Nathan Thomas Lee Scott of Castile; her brothers, Edward W. (Christopher) Lopez-Wolfe of Buffalo, Michael T. Wolfe, Andrew J. Wolfe and Jeffrey K. (Nash) Wolfe all of Arcade.

There are no calling hours. Melody?s memorial service will be held Saturday, March 28 at 1 PM at Harmon-Watson Funeral Home, 35 N. Main St., Castile. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. John the Baptist Hospice House, 111 Maple St., Buffalo, NY 14204 or ABC Bassett Hound Rescue, Inc., PO Box 272, Buffalo, NY 14225.
