Warsaw - Mary E. Mantor, 85 of Warsaw passed away on Friday (January 31, 2025) at Wyoming Co. Community Hospital in Warsaw.
Mrs. Mantor was born October 19, 1939 in Lima, a daughter of the late Kenneth and E. Louise (Beman) Fitzsimmons.
She was a long time nurse's aide at Wyoming County Community Hospital and was also employed at Mallory Timers. Mary was a member of the Warsaw Fire Department Ladies' Auxiliary and the Women of the Moose. She was an avid bowler and Buffalo Bills fan.
Surviving are her children, Kenneth (Denise Irwin) Wheeler of Perry, Wayne (Ona) Wheeler of Wellsville, George (Penny Johnson) Wheeler, II of Fillmore, and Penny (John) McGuire of Albuquerque, New Mexico; step-daughter, Tracy Mantor of Delevan; brothers, Jerry (Alice) Fitzsimmons of LeRoy, and John Fitzsimmons of Pavilion; loving companion, David Veazey of Oakfield; brother-in-law, Harold Doster of Ontario. 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews also survive.
Along with her parents, Mary is reunited in death with her husband, Thomas Mantor; step-son, James Mantor; grandson, Joshua Wheeler; sisters Helen Doster and Judy (late Mac) Hendrickson.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday (February 7, 2025) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 North Main Street in Warsaw, where Mary's memorial service will immediately follow visitation at 1:00 p.m. Mary will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery in Attica.
