Mary Louise Jones

Age 77, of Warsaw, passed away on August 24, 2023 at Rochester General Hospital.

She was born January 5, 1946 in Warsaw, NY, daughter of the late Moore and Meora Johnson Billings. Mary served as the Town Clerk for the Town of Warsaw for many years. She also worked as an aide at Warsaw Central School for several years.

She was a member of the Wyoming Baptist Church and formerly was a member of the Pioneer Girls of the Warsaw Baptist Church. Mary was active in several area senior citizens groups and loved attending musical events at the Charcoal Corral in Perry.

Along with her parents, Mary was predeceased by her daughter, Stephanie MacLaughlin and her siblings, Moore Billings, Herbert Billings, Elmer Billings, Florence Irvine, Virginia Hunsinger, Betty Alwardt, Irene Hertzof and Lillian Bowen.

Surviving are her husband of fifty-seven years, David Jones; her daughter, Renee (Jeffrey) Hill of Orangeville and her granddaughter, Courtney MacLaughlin of Warsaw; several nieces and nephews.
