Mary E. Say

Age 75, of Silver Springs, NY, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2019 at her home under the loving care of her family.

She was born October 8, 1944 in Olean, NY daughter of the late Nelson and Margaret Golden Peavy. Mary was employed for many years as a registered nurse. She worked at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw, the former Genesee Memorial Hospital in Batavia and for the Wyoming County Department of Health prior to her retirement.

Mary also owned and operated Expressions Jewelry Shop for many years where she was able to use her talents in jewelry making. She also enjoyed gardening and canning for family and friends.

Surviving are her husband of thirty-one years, Charles Say; her children, Daniel (Melanie) Brosius of Churchville, Chris (Sherri) Brosius of Hermitage, Lisa Fuller of Warsaw; grandchildren, Tyler Brosius, Jordan Brosius, Dylan Brosius, Logan Brosius, Joshua Brosius, Kyla Brosius; stepchildren, Jeff (Debbie) Say of Alexander, Patrick Say of Attica, Mark (Linda) Say of Edmond, MO, Peter (Camilla) Say of LeRoy, Jerry (Elizabeth) Say of Virginia, Chuck (Wendy) Say of Alexander; brother, David (Sue) Peavy of Gardner, KS; dear friends, John and Cathy Lee, Shirl Lanni, Jack and Kathy VanLone, Carolyn and Frank Miller.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held Sunday, October 27 from 12 – 4 PM at the Gainesville Fire Hall, 2 East St., Gainesville, NY.
