Mark W. Kerwin

Age 64, of Pavilion, NY, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, and devotion to his work. A lifelong resident of Pavilion, Mark was a humble and straightforward man who dedicated himself to the family dairy farm, finding fulfillment in the hard work of tending the land and caring for his animals. Farming wasn’t just his job---it was his passion.

In addition to his work on the farm, Mark was a dedicated employee at the ARC Recycling Center, where he worked for over 25 years. He never complained, showing up every day with a strong work ethic and quiet determination.

Mark had a simple routine that brought him comfort. Every day, without fail, he would call his brother, Michael three times a day, like clockwork. Their bond was unbreakable. Every week, he would order six double cheeseburgers and a large black coffee, giving one to Sandy, eating two himself, and taking the rest home. Every Sunday, Mark walked next door to his sister, Linda’s house, keeping up his routine and enjoying the simple comfort of their proximity.

Mark was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy and Gerald Kerwin, and his sister, Bonnie Kerwin.

His survived by his brother, Michael Kerwin; sisters, Linda Cranston, Sandy Tombari, and Susan Kerwin; and nephews, Tim Kerwin, Brian Kerwin, Ron Tombari, Billy Tombari, Chris Wells, Joe Wells, and Charles Wells. His passing leaves a deep void in the lives of those who knew and loved him.

His legacy will live on in the fields he tended and the quiet kindness he showed to those around him.
