Lorne J. Gay

Age 47, of Warsaw, passed away on April 5, 2025 at his home.

He was born on January 16, 1978 in Warsaw, son of the late Douglas and C. Marie Harrington Gay. Growing up, Lorne was involved in Boy Scouts, proudly attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. He was a graduate of Warsaw Central School, class of 1996. Lorne went on to attend the University of Buffalo, where he received a Doctorate Degree in Pharmaceuticals. After graduating, Lorne worked as a pharmacist at multiple locations in the area. He also had a love for math and physics. Most importantly though, was the love that Lorne had for his family and the time he spent with them.

Predeceased along with his parents are his brother, Milo Gay and brother-in-law, Erasmo Matos.

Lorne is survived by his wife, Alicia Gay of Warsaw; his children, Addison Gay and Alexander Gay of Warsaw; his sister Lenee Gay Matos of North Chili; his uncle, Dwight (Ginny) Gay of Dale; his in-laws, Phillip and Becky Walker of Varysburg; his brother-in-laws, Zakary Walker and Peter Goodman of Bethesda, MD.

A private service will be held for Lorne at a later date. Arrangements are being completed by Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, Warsaw.
