Linda M. Manning

Age 71, of Warsaw, passed away on September 29, 2023 at the East Side Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw.

She was born on August 4, 1952 in Warsaw, NY to the late John “Jack” Nugent, Sr. and Jean Comstock Nugent. Linda was a graduate of Warsaw High School Class of 1970. She worked for the Department of Corrections for many years doing clerical work, retiring from Attica Correctional Facility.

Linda was a member of the Wyoming County Veterans Club and the Warsaw Moose Lodge #560. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and traveling.

Along with her parents, Linda is predeceased by her sister, Cynthia Mooney and brothers, Michael, Douglas, and John Jr.

She is survived by her children, Benjamin Skidmore of Warsaw, Jack (Gina) Skidmore of Portageville, Cristina Manning of Warsaw; grandchildren, Cara, Micayla, Ryah, Anthony, Anderson, and James; siblings, Jeffery (Cheryl) Nugent of FL, Kathleen (Gary) Bogert of Warsaw, Daniel (Davina) Nugent of Warsaw; sister-in-law, Donna Nugent of Rochester; longtime companion, David Warne of Warsaw; many nieces and nephews.
