Judith A. Brown

Age 71, of Wyoming, NY, passed away following a long illness on September 2, 2022 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility with her devoted husband Paul by her side holding her hand.

She was born December 12, 1950 in Warsaw, NY, daughter of the late Gordon Heron and Elsie Miller (Heron) Smith. Judy was a graduate of Wyoming Central School Class of 1968 and she attended the Continental School of Beauty. She was a longtime member of the Pavilion Baptist Church and shared her talent as an organist in several area churches. Judy enjoyed knitting and sewing and loved baking cookies for family and friends. Most importantly, she was a homemaker, her world and her affection revolving around her three sons and her five grandchildren.

Judy was predeceased by her sister, Phyllis Hopkins, stepmother, Verna Heron and stepfather, Vernon Smith.

Surviving are her husband of fifty-two years, Paul W. Brown, whom she married on April 11, 1970; her sons, Brian (Jamie McClain) Brown of Piffard, Larry (Nicole) Brown of Pavilion, Brett (Cortney) Brown of West Henrietta; her grandchildren, Joshua Brown, Zachary Brown, Morgan Ferrara, Blake Brown and Kyle Brown; her brother, James (Donna) Smith of Savona.

There are no calling hours. Services will be private. Burial will be in Pavilion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pavilion Baptist Church, 10956 Lake St., Pavilion, NY 14525.
