John D. Lathigee

Age 59, of Gainesville, passed away on October 14, 2023 at home.

He was born on July 18, 1964 in Rochester, NY to John Lathigee and Georgina Kesel Praczkajlo. John worked as an auto body technician for Marquart Repair and Equipment Sales in Gainesville.

John was a workaholic but loved hunting, fishing, trapping, and motorcycles. He was also an avid listener of Tradio; always searching for another motor to add to his collection.

John is survived by his wife, Melissa Boutwell Lathigee; his mother and stepfather, Georgina and Dennis Praczkajlo of Bliss; his father, John Lathigee of Wolcott; sons, John (Jacqueline) Lathigee II of Attica, Zachary Lathigee of Warsaw; grandchildren, Harper, Damian, Emma, and Elijah; half-brother, Ryan (Amanda) Lathigee of SC; nieces, Trisha Ikeler and Chelsie (Chad) Gawel. John is predeceased by his sister Georgina Tallman and twin granddaughters Emma Grace and Elizabeth Lathigee.
