Jennie M. Miceli

Age 92, of Warsaw, passed away on February 11, 2021 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.

She was born May 28, 1928 in Rock Glen, NY, daughter of the late Salvatore and Jennie Goodsell Schillaci. Jennie was a 1946 graduate of Warsaw High School. She worked for several years at the former Brown Century Knitting Mill in Warsaw. She also worked for several years in the cafeteria at Warsaw Central School. Jennie was an avid bingo player and belonged to the Italian American Club in Livingston County in earlier years. She was a member of the Warsaw Orangeville Gainesville travel group as well as the Golden Agers Club.

Jennie was predeceased by her husband, Serafino J. Miceli who died December 9, 2010.

Surviving are her children, Joan (Jeff) Guterman of Allegany, NY, Paul (Krista) Miceli of Jamestown, NY; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Raul) Valdez, Olyvia Miceli, Owyn Miceli and Noah Miceli; her great granddaughter, Carla Valdez; her sister, Dorothy Sorge of Depew; her brother, Samuel (Judy) Schillaci of Silver Springs; several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Clara Schillaci, Ann Marie Gardyjan, Mike Schillaci, Alfonso Schillaci, Joseph Schillaci and Phil Schillaci.

Friends may call Friday, February 19 from 3 – 6 PM at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. Jennie’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 20 at 10 AM at St. Michael’s Church, Warsaw. The public may view a livestream of Jennie’s service on the Parish Community of St. Michael Facebook page. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Warsaw. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 160 Allens Creek Rd., Rochester, NY 14618 or the Wyoming County Office for the Aging, 8 Perry Ave., Warsaw, NY 14569.
