Iona M. Grimsley

Age 89, of Castile, NY passed away on December 17, 2020 at her home.

She was born October 5, 1931 in Buffalo, NY daughter of the late Lyle and Madge Clark Wheeler. Iona was a homemaker as well as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed shopping at garage sales.

Iona was predeceased by her husband, Oliver F. Grimsley who died on December 11, 2020, her son, Greg Grimsley, her daughter, Donna Deaton and her grandson, Timothy Grimsley as well as several siblings.

Surviving are her children, Kevin (Patricia) Grimsley of Green Valley, CA, Connie (Gary) George of Bliss, Susan (Patrick) Gates of Piffard; grandchildren, Lynnette Barr of Henderson, NV, Scott Grimsley of Nevada, Benjamin George of Buffalo, Joshua (Susan) George of Perry, Adam Kerwin of Castile, Caitlin George of Bliss, Nicholas (Sarah) Kerwin of Bergen and Zachary George of Bliss; nine great grandchildren; siblings, Clark Wheeler of Lackawanna, Brenda LoBocchiaro of Tonawanda; sister-in-law, Audrey Wheeler of West Seneca.
