Herman O. Haas

Age 85, of Warsaw, passed away on January 23, 2021 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

He was born February 28, 1935 in Dolgeville, NY son of the late Herman and Jesse Haas. Herman was employed for many years as a sales representative for Agrisystems in Pavilion, NY. He then spent many years as a self employed soil consultant in Western New York, working extensively with the local Amish community. Herman enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and New York Yankees fan. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR. He took great pride in his grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

Surviving are his wife of sixty-one years, Patricia LaBarge Haas; his children, Jeffery Haas of Warsaw, Gregory Haas of Las Vegas, NV, Anne (James Porter) Haas of LeRoy; grandchildren, Patrick Carney, Jr. of Bergen, Kristopher (Cassie) Haas of Warsaw, Cherie Haas of Warsaw, Jessica (Kory) Cosimeno of Ohio; ten great grandchildren; his sisters, Shirley Gargiulo, Frances Kamerer, Marlene Foley and Patti Costanzo. He was the brother of the late Janice Haas.

There are no calling hours. A celebration of life will be held at a date in the future. Memorials may be made to a local Future Farmers of America chapter of the donor’s choice.
