Glenn Eugene Sherwood

Age 94, of Warsaw, passed away on October 29, 2023 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

He was born on September 30, 1929 in Angelica, NY to the late Glenn Eugene, Sr. and Lula Green Sherwood. Glenn served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of the VFW Post 5009 in Perry, NY. He was a self-employed logger who loved being in the woods.

In his earlier years, Glenn enjoyed racing cars, and throughout his life loved watching races. He loved gardening, cooking, camping, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Glenn was predeceased by his first wife, Alberta, second wife, Dorothy, daughter, Margaret, and siblings, Harold, Dick, Orville, Lyle, and Margaret.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Sherwood of Warsaw; children, Glenn Eugene Sherwood of MI, Robert Sherwood of PA, Ann Spaulding of Warsaw; stepchildren, Thomas (Lesia) Mogavero of Amherst, Jean Ray of NC, Theresa (Rodney) Wright of GA, Anna (Ed) Holst of WA, Thelma (Kenny) Prial of MS, Irene (Tim) Prevorse of LeRoy; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
