Age 69, of Warsaw, passed away on October 31, 2022 at Wyoming County Community Hospital in
Warsaw.
He was born on May 21, 1953 in Warsaw, NY to the late Clarence and Irma Tavernier Schneckenburger.
Jerry graduated from Warsaw Central School where he met his wife, Linda in kindergarten. They were
married on July 21, 1973. Jerry worked as a pipe foreman for the former Pavilion Gas Company and then
for RG&E for 35 years. He was a member of the Wyoming County Veterans Club and a former member
of the Silver Lake Sportsman’s Club.
Jerry was a devoted father, grandfather and a true friend to many. He was known for his sense of humor
and quick wit. He worked hard and played hard. He found great joy in spending time at the pond with
his family and friends. Jerry was an avid hunter, the highlight of his year was hunting with his children.
He also enjoyed golfing, four wheeling, playing cards and was a Buffalo Bills fan.
Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, John.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda (Tuttle) Schneckenburger; his children, Jeremy (Sarah)
Schneckenburger of Warsaw, Nate (Tara) Schneckenburger of Farmington, Raena (Adam) Rowley of
Warsaw; grandchildren, Jakob & Anna Schneckenburger, Macy & Stella Schneckenburger, Eden, Lydia, &
Brynn Rowley; sister, Marcia Gammon of Virginia; sisters-in-law, Sue Schneckenburger of Warsaw,
JoAnn Flynt of Pavilion, Donna (Steve) Perkins of Warsaw; nieces and nephews, Lynda-Anne Domnissey,
Kristen Davis, Erin McKinney, Sandy LaFreniere, Chad Schneckenburger, Melanie Perkins, Zachary
Perkins; along with many close cousins.
There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Warsaw Rescue Squad, PO
Box 22, Warsaw, NY 14569 or the Wyoming County Veterans Club, 245 W. Buffalo St., Warsaw, NY
