Eugene P. Myers

Age 93, a resident of Absolut Care of Houghton, formerly of Castile, NY passed away on September 23, 2019 at the nursing facility.

He was born April 1, 1926 in Dansville, son of the late Ralph Myers and Joyce Passmore Myers Fanson. Eugene was employed for many years at the former Kaustine Company in Perry and then at Robeson Cutlery in later years. He was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean War.

Eugene enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on cars. He also enjoyed hunting.

He was predeceased by his siblings Ralph Gordon (Stella) Myers, William P. (Mary) Myers, Albert Martin (Judy) Myers, John A. “Jack” (Lois) (Pauline) Myers, Otto Bruce Myers.

Surviving are his sisters-in-law, Peg Myers of Wayland, Lois Myers of Canandaigua; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held Friday, September 27 at 3 PM at Oakwood Cemetery, Nunda. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Joint Veterans Council, 5362A Mungers Mill Rd., Silver Springs, NY 14550.
