Age 63, of Pike, passed away on April 22, 2025 at his home in Pike.
He was born on August 31, 1961 in Warsaw, son of the late Stephen and Judith Armison Potter. After graduating high school, he worked most of his life as a truck driver, most recently for T.J. Marquart and Sons in Gainesville. Doug lived his life fast and loud. He enjoyed fireworks, bonfires, loud music, travelling, and making people laugh. Most of all though, Doug loved spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren.
Predeceased along with his parents, is his brother-in-law, John Nichols.
Doug is survived by his wife, Robin Marble Potter of Pike; his daughters, Lindsay (Stephan) Kaszynski of Fillmore, Karime (Kevin) Morley of Fillmore; his siblings, Cindy Nichols of Perry, Jackie (Tom) Rich of Ohio, Lori (Russ) Bachman of Ohio, Kathy (Randy) Lowe of Tennessee, Brandon Potter of Fillmore, Brynn (Jeremy) Swimline of Fillmore; his grandchildren, Kira “Spud” Morley, Keaton Morley, Cameron Kaszynski, Maddie “Brat” Kaszynski, Landen Kaszynski, Cody Adrian; his step-mother, Janet Potter of Fillmore; several cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
A celebration of life for Doug will be announced at a later date. A private burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Pike.
