Douglas J. Nugent

Age 67, of LeRoy, NY, passed away on January 13, 2021 at Unity Hospital in Rochester.

He was born August 18, 1953 in Warsaw, NY son of the late John, Sr. and Jean Comstock Nugent. Doug worked for thirty-five years for Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and he enjoyed fishing. Doug enjoyed playing poker and loved spending time with his family and attending family functions.

Surviving are his wife of thirty-six years, Donna Colon Nugent, whom he married on December 30, 1984; his children, Jayson (Heide) Nugent of Buffalo, Sarah Krzemien of Perry, Rebecca Nugent of LeRoy, Michael Nugent of North Carolina, Adam (Kera) Nugent of Hilton, Christopher (Emma) Nugent of LeRoy; his grandchildren, Brittni, Jade, J.J., Miranda, Charlotte, Arlo and Wyatt; his siblings, Cynthia Mooney of Florida, Linda Manning of Warsaw, Jeffery (Cheryl) Nugent of Florida, Kathleen (Gary) Bogert of Warsaw, Daniel (Davina) Nugent of Warsaw; many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Michael Nugent and John Nugent, Jr.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, August 6, beginning at noon at the Legion Hall in the Warsaw Village Park, Liberty Street, Warsaw. Private burial will be in Dale Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Verona Street Animal Shelter, 184 Verona St., Rochester, NY 14608.
