Age 92, of Warsaw, passed away on December 19, 2020 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.
She was born November 24, 1928 in Warsaw, daughter of the late Donald and Hazel Stortz Cole. Dorothy was a graduate of Warsaw High School and worked for forty years as an office worker with Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester.
She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Warsaw and was active in many area veteran’s activities. Dorothy was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary as well as the Wyoming County Veterans Club. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose #560 in Warsaw and the Red Hat Society.
Dorothy was a generous person, often donating to the Warsaw Food Pantry and the Backpacks for Kids program. She was also a longtime volunteer with the American Red Cross.
Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Donald Keenan who died in 2005 and her brother, Donald Cole.
Surviving are her sisters, Betty C. Ott of Warsaw and Marlene Lane of Arcade along with several beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours. Services will be private. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery, Wethersfield Springs.
