Debra Marie Buck Shisler

Age 73, of Bliss, NY, passed away at her home on March 6, 2021.

She was born December 24, 1947 in Fillmore, NY, daughter of the late Everette Buck, Sr. and Evelynn Anderson Buck. Debra was a registered nurse and worked for many years at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw, primarily in obstetrics.

She was a lover of animals, taking in any stray cat that found its way to her doorstep. Debra had a green thumb and loved having a house full of plants. She also loved tending her beautiful rose gardens. She was a collector of dolls and loved playing the piano and was an avid reader of novels.

Debra was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Everette Buck, Jr.

Surviving are her children, Nannette (Dave) Ryan of Brockport, Dr. Scott (Dr. Joanna Kala) Shisler of Bad Axe, MI, Paul (Linda) Shisler of Bad Axe, MI; grandchildren, Casey Spencer, who was Debra’s caretaker for ten years, Robert McGowan, McKenzie McGowan, Elijah Ryan, Jordan Shisler, Julianna Shisler, Tristan Shisler, Tyler Cathel, Matthew Cathel, Chelsea Cathel, Natanya Stirrett, Dustin Stirrett; her sisters, Joyce Metcalf of Warsaw, Marsha List of Bergen, Ginger Rinas of Rochester.

There are no calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
