David J. Leitten

Age 39, of Warsaw, passed away on August 3, 2021 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

He was born June 10, 1982 in Warsaw, son of Tom and Chandra Cross Leitten of Warsaw. Dave was a carpenter and a member of the Carpenter’s Union #276 in Rochester. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed his time hunting with family and friends. For Dave, there was nothing more enjoyable than spending time outside in nature with his loved ones and a Budweiser.

Dave was an outstanding wrestler. He competed in the New York State High School Wrestling tournament in 1998, 1999 and 2000. He also was runner up in the National High School Wrestling tournament in 2000.

Surviving along with his parents, are his wife, Nicola Brotherston; his son, Jayden Donnelly; siblings, Tom (Saundra Mayle) Leitten of Gainesville, Chris (Patricia) Leitten of Attica, Phil (Melissa) Leitten of Perry, Jennifer (Richard) Smith of Wyoming, NY; many nieces and nephews.

A private family service was held. Arrangements were completed by Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, Warsaw.
