Connie Sue Norton, a cherished resident of Wyoming, NY, passed away peacefully at her home at the age of 64. Born in Dansville, NY, to Geneva and Ben Main, Connie spent her life building a legacy of love, community, and dedication.
Connie attended Perry High School, where she was active on the volleyball team, and later became deeply involved in the Wyoming community. She was a beloved coach for girls' soccer, basketball, and softball at Wyoming Central School, inspiring countless young athletes over the years. Her dedication to the town extended beyond the sports field—Connie served as the Vendor Director of the well-loved Apple Umpkin Festival for over 20 years, putting her heart and soul into this annual celebration.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Geneva Wilson, her father, Ben Main, her brother, Clyde Main, and her parents-in-law, Martin and Evelyn Norton.
Connie is survived by her loving husband, Nathan Norton; her daughter, Hannah Norton; and her treasured granddaughter, Emme Norton. She also leaves behind her beloved brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, who will carry her spirit forward.
Connie’s warmth, generosity, and dedication to her community will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a lasting impact on her family, friends, and the Wyoming community.
