Cindy L. (Davies) Bastedo

Age 66, from Columbia, SC, formerly of Warsaw, NY, went to be with her good Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 8, 2023, after a lengthy illness. She was surrounded by her son, Andrew, daughter-in-law, Bet and granddaughters, Giuliana and Maddie.

Cindy graduated from Warsaw Central School in the Class of 1974. She worked for many years with the Office for the Aging in Warsaw.

In 2006, Cindy moved to North Carolina to be near her son Andrew and first born love of her life, granddaughter Giuliana. Cindy then remained in the Carolinas to be near them. She loved spending time with her family. She loved baking, cooking, gardening and spoiling any animal that came along.

Cindy was predeceased by her parents, Shirly David Davies and Kathleen Davies, a nephew, Timothy Cousins and a brother-in-law, Mike Stevens.

She leaves behind her son, Andrew Bastedo, daughter-in-law, Bet, two granddaughters, Giuliana and Maddie all of Columbia, SC; her sisters, Ann (Gary) Cousins, Bernice Stevens and Debi Davies all of Warsaw, NY; nephews, Brad Davies of Amherst, Tom (Barb) Cousins of Chili, Brian (Cherie) Cousins of Corfu; nieces, Denise (John) Uptegrove of Angola, Jessica Hough, Mary (Jeremy) Woolard of Mapleton, ME, Christine Diehl; a very close sister like cousin, Sally Burns Smith of Warsaw; many great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends; her aunt, Eleanor Thomas of Warsaw.
