Christopher M. Sims

Christopher Michael Sims, 32, of Perry passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 10, 2020. He was born in Warsaw, NY on March 23, 1988 to Lori Ann (Ames) Sims of Attica and the late George Henry Sims.

Chris will be remembered for his big heart and for being a hard worker. He attended Perry Central School and Mt. Morris BOCES. He worked on numerous farms around the area. He loved to spend time with family and friends and will be dearly missed, especially by his fiancé, Samantha Drake of Perry and her children, Owen and Dallas Drake.

In addition to his mother, Chris is survived by his Maternal grandmother, Nancy Keem Ames of Perry. Sisters: Cynthia (Rashawn) Goiser of Batavia; Samantha (Leigh) Ciesielski of Manlius; Sally Sims (Jeremiah Cieszynski) of Attica; 3 nieces and nephews: Justice Goiser, Julianna Goiser and Tucker Ciesielski; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Along with his father, Chris is preceded in death by: maternal grandparents, Shirley Stanton and Richard Ames and paternal grandparents Sue and John Sims.

There will be no prior calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Chris will be laid to rest next to his grandfather, Richard Ames, in Warsaw Cemetery in Warsaw, NY.
