Carl Conrad Stock

Age 56, of Bliss, passed away on October 29, 2022 at home.

Carl was born in Buffalo, NY on August 1, 1966 to the late Vernon and Marian Benzel Stock. He was a graduate of Attica Central School. Carl went on to enlist in the Army, staying in the Army Reserves for years as a medic. He was a hardworking man taking up many jobs throughout his life, including owning his own company selling medical equipment, becoming an LPN working at Monroe Community Hospital and Wyoming County Community Hospital, and later becoming a corrections officer working at Green Haven Correctional Facility and Five Points Correctional Facility.

Carl was a kind, loving man who always put others before himself. Respect and kindness were of the utmost importance to him. He was a jokester, always playing pranks to make people laugh. Carl enjoyed woodworking, making many pieces of furniture for his home. Most importantly though, he loved spending time with his grandkids to whom he was known as “Papa.”

Surviving are his wife, Teri whom he married on March 12, 2021; children, Jeffrey (Rebecca) Shutt, Rodney Shutt, Ryan Shutt, Nicholas Stock, Grayson Stock; grandchildren, Emma and Holden Shutt, Silas and Shemus Stock, Adelynn and Treylena Stock; siblings, Bruce (Sonya) Stock, Rodney (Karen) Stock, Eric (Julie) Stock, Judy Sikorski.
