Cari Lynn Gawel

Age 57, passed away on November 8, 2020 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

She was born April 11, 1963 in Warsaw, daughter of the late Donald C. Gawel and Pauline Kieselbach Gawel of Bliss, NY. Cari worked for thirty years at Hilltop Industries in both Mt. Morris and Avon. She enjoyed bowling and dancing, trips to amusement parks and latch hooking. Cari always enjoyed her time spent at family gatherings.

Surviving along with her mother, Pauline are her brothers, Mark Gawel and Doug Gawel both of Bliss; her nephew, Chad (Chelsie) Gawel and nieces, Lorissa (Patrick Hobbs) Gawel and Shanda (Carl) Meyer.

Friends may call Wednesday, November 11 from 11 AM – 1PM at the Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Cari’s funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 1 PM. Private burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Warsaw. Memorials may be made to the Wyoming County Nursing Facility Christmas Fund, 400 N. Main St., Warsaw, NY 14569. Due to Covid 19 precautions, the funeral home is limited to 33% capacity and facemasks are required. Thank you for your cooperation.
