Burnie F. Spink

Age 70, of Warsaw, passed away on October 11, 2023 at Highland Hospital in Rochester.

He was born on July 25, 1953 in Warsaw, NY to the late Richard and Jennie Novara Spink. Burnie was a corrections officer for many years retiring from Groveland Correctional Facility in 2002. After retirement he worked as a courier for Five Star Bank. Burnie was a member of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in Warsaw. He was also a member of the Warsaw Moose Lodge #560 where he loved helping out.

Burnie was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed playing golf and rooting for the New York Yankees. But there was nothing he loved more than going to his grandkids sporting events. He never missed a game.

Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Nancy Valicenti.

Burnie is survived by his children, Derek (Sarah) Spink of LeRoy, Amy (Mark) Chase of LeRoy; grandchildren, Madison Spink, Drew Spink, Austin Saeva, Brayden Chase, Molly Chase; siblings, Richard T. (Melane) Spink of Warsaw, Dennis Spink of Scottsville, Kenneth (Charlene) Spink of Murfreesboro, TN; nieces and nephews.
