Bruce L. Humel

Age 71 of Gainesville, NY passed away on October 21, 2023 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

He was born March 5, 1952 in Batavia, NY, son of the late Robert F. Humel and Winifred Worthington Humel Cook. Bruce was a proud veteran of the US Air Force serving during the Vietnam era. He was employed for many years as an electrician with Sabin Metal Co. in Scottsville. He was a classic automobile enthusiast and loved going to car shows. In earlier years Bruce was also an avid gardener.

Surviving are his wife of forty-two years, Darlene Wells Humel, whom he married on August 1, 1981; his children, Samantha (John) Hall of Bliss, Adam Humel of Warsaw; his grandchildren, Carter Hall and Preston Hall; his siblings, Cynthia (Fred) Hamilton of Batavia, Donna Beitz of Attica, Sharon (David) Bellnier of Buffalo, Daniel Humel of Silver Springs; step sister, Maggie Cook of Tennessee; several nieces and nephews.
