Brian K. Robinson

Brian K. Robinson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025 at the age of 68. Born in Batavia, NY on April 21, 1956 to Harold and Pauline McElwain Robinson, Brian was a gifted athlete from a young age. At just 11 years old, he clinched the batting champion title in the Warsaw, NY Kiwanis Little League. Brian was a 1974 graduate of Warsaw Central School and attended SUNY Geneseo. He had a love of running and cross-country and along with his brother, Doug, could be found running the hills around his hometown of Warsaw. Well into his later years, he maintained his love for staying active, walking several miles a day.

Brian dedicated much of his life to his career as a UPS driver, always working hard to provide for his family. After years of service, he settled into retirement in Myrtle Beach, SC, where he found joy in the simple pleasures of life. In his later years he operated a small landscaping company.

Surviving are his wife of almost forty-eight years, Susan Deschler Robinson; his children Aaron (Jennifer) Robinson, Andrew Robinson, and Brieanna (Sam) Sarcia; grandchildren, Lila, Landon and Mason Robinson, and June and Lex Sarcia; his siblings, Andy (Teresa) Robinson-Perkins, Sally (William) Holley, Shirley Ronco, and Lisa Robinson Philipson; Sister-in-law Nancy (Douglas) Robinson; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Pauline McElwain Robinson, his son Christian, and his brothers Philip Robinson, Eric Robinson, and Douglas Robinson.

His greatest joy in life was being a grandfather, and he cherished every moment spent with his beloved grandchildren. A man of many passions, Brian loved the beach, his family, and music. He loved people and a good conversation, and in retirement you could often find him at the local Starbucks visiting with his friends. Brian had a remarkable singing voice and a talent for playing the guitar. In his later years he had dreams of being a songwriter, and wrote and recorded many songs. He was just starting to write a book. His warm presence, kind heart, and love for his family and friends will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Brian’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Myrtle Beach, SC at the convenience of the family at a later date.
