Beverly D. Putney

Age 88, of Warsaw, passed away on February 28, 2022 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

She was born March 8, 1933 in Pennsylvania daughter of the late Fred and Nell Decker Ramsey. Bev and her late husband, Marvin ran their family farm for many years. She worked for many years at the Wyomoco 4-H Camp in Orangeville and she also spent several years working in the Warsaw Central School cafeteria.

Bev was a member of the United Church of Warsaw. She enjoyed the outdoors; watching birds and gardening. She was an avid reader.

Bev was predeceased by her husband of sixty-seven years, Marvin; her son, John Putney and her siblings, Marjorie Powelczyk, Gerald Ramsey and Robert Neil Ramsey.

Surviving are her daughter, Laurie Storm of Texas; her brother, Ronald (Sue) Ramsey of Elba; two grandsons; her sister-in-law and good friend, Donna Ramsey of Warsaw; her brothers-in-law, Gordon Putney of Williamsville, Allen (Rebecca) Putney of Silver Springs; her nephew, Jeremy Ramsey; special friend and caregiver, Shelly (Allen) Burford of Colden; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
