Betty J. Sonricker

Age 86, of Attica, passed away on August 18, 2024 at the NYS Veteran’s Home at Batavia.

She was born on February 24, 1938 in Warsaw, daughter of the late Clarence and Gladys Davis Wheeler. After finishing high school and marrying Bud, her husband of nearly seventy years, Betty became a homemaker for their family. She enjoyed bowling, reading, making cookies and walks with their dogs. Betty had a great love for travelling and spending time with her grandchildren.

Predeceased along with her parents is her sister, Peggy Wheeler.

Betty is survived by her loving husband George “Bud” Sonricker; her children, Kevin (Roxanne) Sonricker of Warsaw, Kathleen (Neil) Judd of Paris, TN, David (Ann) Sonricker of Naperville, IL, Diane (the late Philip) Knittel of St. Louis, MO; Ten grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

No services will be held at this time. Arrangements are being completed by Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, Warsaw. Memorials can be made in Betty’s name to the Immanuel United Church of Christ, P.O. Box 144, Attica, NY 14011 or to your Veteran’s organization of choice..
