Barbara C. Neeley

Age 91, of Warsaw, NY, passed away on April 26, 2025 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

She was born August 29, 1933 in Varysburg, NY, daughter of the late Louis and Ella West Cornish. Barb was a graduate of Attica High School Class of 1951. She was employed as a Business Office Representative for several years at the former Rochester Telephone Company. After taking several years away from work to raise her growing family, she spent several years as a Life Skills Assistant with ARC in Warsaw. Barb served for many years as a private caregiver for several area residents.

Barb was a longtime member of the United Church of Warsaw, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Loyal Order of the Moose in Warsaw and the Wyoming County Veterans Club. She was active in volunteerism with the Warsaw Food Pantry, the March of Dimes and the American Cancer Society. Barb enjoyed trips to the casino with friends, was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and was a proud breast cancer survivor.

Barb was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Neeley, whom she married on June 14, 1958 as well as her siblings, Beatrice Keenan, Theodore Cornish, Charles Cornish and Bruce Cornish.

Surviving are her sons, Bruce (Amy) Neeley of Canaseraga, Brian (Sue) Neeley of Carlsbad, CA, Robert (the late Sue) Neeley of Warsaw, Brent Neeley of Rochester; grandchildren, Matthew (Michelle) Neeley of Naperville, IL, Shelagh Neeley of Warsaw; great granddaughter, Emmy Neeley; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday, May 2 from 4 – 7 PM at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where Barb’s funeral service will be held Saturday, May 3 at 11 AM. Burial will be in Warsaw Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Good Days & Special Times, PO Box 665, Mendon, NY 14506 or Warsaw Food Pantry, 10-22 S.
