Arnold Robert Ward, Sr.

Age 85, of Castile, passed away at Wyoming County Community Hospital on April 3, 2023.

He was born on July, 25 1937, son of the late Warren and Minnie Burkart Ward. Arnold was a farmer all his life working with the family business, Ward Bros. Dairy Farm. He loved attending the Wyoming County Fair and the tractor pulling in particular. Arnold enjoyed the sport both participating in his younger days and in his later years, just being a spectator.

Along with his parents, Arnold is predeceased by his wife, Patricia Livingston; his sister, Betty Ward; a brother, Bill Ward; his niece, Maryanne Ward; and his sister-in-law, Charlene Ward.

Arnold is survived by his daughter, Shirley (Daryl) Vedder of Fillmore, NY; his son, Arnie (Tammy) Ward Jr. of Florida; his brothers, Raymond Ward of Castile, Junior Ward of Castile; his grandsons, Anthony Vedder of Fillmore, Ryan Vedder of Fillmore; his nephew, Ray Ward of Castile.

Friends may call on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 8 AM – 10 AM at Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. Arnold’s funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 10 AM. Burial at Grace Cemetery following Arnold’s service.
