April Gail Lew

Warsaw - April Gail Lew, 73 of Warsaw, passed away on Thursday, (August 15, 2024) at her home. 

Mrs. Lew was born June 1, 1951 in Buffalo, a daughter of the late Howard and Violet (Scroggs) Schlebus.

April was a strongly independent woman who was always happy to lend a helping hand. She greatly enjoyed working in her yard and loving her dogs. 

She is survived by her brother, James Schlebus of Texas; sister-in-law, Nancy (Dennis) Peak of Holley; and niece, Jessica Peak of Livonia. 

Along with her parents, April is preceded in death by her husband, Lincoln P. Lew who passed away in 2011.

Family and friends are invited at attend April's memorial service on Friday (August 23, 2024) at 6:00 p.m. at Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 North Main Street in Warsaw. Rev. Bill Hockey will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Institute.
