A beautiful light left this earth and is now making the heavens a warmer, brighter, more beautiful place. Ann Marie Reynolds Flowers age 75, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her adoring family, on Saturday October 28, 2023 at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Ann was born November 12, 1947 to Robert Eugene and U. Arlene Reynolds in Warsaw, NY. Ann was a beautiful soul who spent her life caring for others. She was a Title 1 math teacher and substitute teacher at Warsaw Central school for years until she took on the position of Deputy Director of Veterans Services for Wyoming County until she retired in 2005 . Ann couldn’t walk into a store without a former student coming up to her and telling her how much they had loved her. She was “famous” so to speak for the kind, respectful and compassionate way she served the veterans of Wyoming County and their families throughout her years in Veteran’s Service. Long after she retired she would be called by veterans or family members for advice. At the time of her retirement from Veteran’s Service Ann was honored by the Wyoming County Veterans with a Humanitarian Award for her devotion. There was not a person who knew Ann who didn’t love her.
Ann’s family was the most important thing in the world to her. She adored the three children and six grandchildren, she shared with her husband Bob with her whole giant heart. She loved her daughters- in-law and son-in law like they were her own. There was nothing Ann enjoyed more than spending time with and sharing news of her kids and grandkids with anyone who would listen. Her family will forever feel the loss of this incredible woman but all know how lucky we have been to have had her in our lives.
Ann is survived by her husband Robert W. Flowers , whom she married on August 6, 1966. Her three children Robert S. (Katie ) Flowers of Geneva, NY , Julie (Joe) Santullo of Wyoming,NY, Matthew (Cindy) Flowers of Geneseo,NY. Her six grandchildren Matthew Santullo of Orchard Park, NY, Karianne Santullo and Daniel Santullo of Wyoming NY. Robbie Flowers of Geneseo, Colleen Flowers of Geneva and Jack Flowers of Geneseo. Ann is also survived by her brother Steven (Michelle) Reynolds and several nieces and nephews. Ann will be joining her parents Bob and Arlene Reynolds and her brothers Terry Reynolds and John Reynolds in heaven.
